Opening day was a huge success with the BBQ and a long day of football.

 August 27

Falcons 0 vs. Colts 20

 The Falcons came out and played hard but got very little for the effort, Riley Raduik led the way with 5 touch and 26 yd, Qb Bailey Wong had 5 carries to amass 8 yd. The Colts defence was led by Zack Lethbridge , who had 2 interceptions and countless tackles. Drew Nimegeers was the offencive man with two Td on 23 carries. Dabulis Ebet did it the easy way by running a punt return back for a major (40 yd) and then kicking the converts.

 Rockets 14 vs. Raiders 6

 The final game of the night was a close one too. The two teams have become a custom to close games as they played each other in the city finals last year. Raiders with a whole new look tried just about all a football team could do with nothing to show for it. Their lone bright spot was slotback Burke MacDonald’s 3yd Td run. The Rockets with some returning face and some new ones as well scored more than enough to grab victory. Returning Qb Nolan Berner open the scoring with a 1 yd plunge and new comer Bryce Hall scored from 6yd out both Td were converted.

 September 1

Colts 21 vs. Raiders 0

 The Raiders came out a little flat and the Colts came out pumped up as the score shows.The Raider s had a great effort from Kaleb Bell, who ran hard all night long, carrying 8 times for 30 yd.Colt spark plug Drew Nimegeers was finally rewarded with Td in the fourth quarter with 1:03 left. Drew had 17 touches on the ball. New comer Deagan Ross scored his first Td of the year on a 4 yd run. Qb Jackson Klien ran in the 2pt convert. Dabulis Ebet was at it again, taking a punt 55 yd for the score, and then kicks his own single.

 September 2

Rockets 12 vs. Falcons 10

The Falcons came to play tonight, but fell just short of the victory, the Rockets were led by Bryce Hall, who scored both their Td on 8 yd runs, Hall had 16 carries. The Falcon tried to keep up with the Rockets even had the lead for a while but came up just short. Twelve second s after the Rockets had their fist score so did the Falcons on a Riley Raduik 80 yd kick return Td and convert. The next step to leading was Kyle Arndt kicking a 27 yd field goal, something this guy has not seen in a long time. It was great to see, hope to see it more often and by more teams. That was all the Falcons could muster.

 MVP for both teams were Rockets Bryce Hall and Falcons Kyle Arndt.

 

September 9

 Falcons 26 vs. Raiders 6

The Falcons came in to the game looking for their first win of the season and did just that with an impressive win tonight. Falcons were led by Kyle Arndt, who had two Td’s, first a 11 yd run, the second on a 17 yd reception. Kyle kicked to single converts as well. Aiden Colemen had a 17 yd Td catch, while Bailey Wong threw for 2 Td’s, he also scored one himself running in from 3 yd out. The Raiders lone bright spot was Austin Duncan, Who scored the Raiders only points on a 38 yd run and picked up 134 yd in the process. MVP’s for both teams were Raiders Jesse Lisik and Falcons Mark Warburton.

 September 10

 Colts 7 vs. Rockets 0

 Both the Colts and Rockets headed into this game with a 2-0 record and these teams battled hard.  It was a scoreless first that saw both teams give a little but not break.  The Colts scored first on a 8 yard TD Run by Drew Nimegeers and followed that up with a successful convert to lead 7-0.  Both teams had chances to score but in the end, the Colts came out on top

 

Sept. 16

 Raiders 0 vs. Colts 48

 If it could go wrong it did for the Raiders on Friday night. Players got hurt, ball got fumbled, Qb got sacked and intercepted. The lone bright spot was Kaleb Bell who had most of the Raiders offence; Kaleb had 49 yd on nine carries & had to fill in on D as well with all the players that fell. While everything may have went wrong for the Raiders. The Colts did everything right scoring at will, Drew Nimigeers led the way with three Td’s, Jory Litt-Jukes had one, Deagan Ross had one, Qb Jackson Klein hit pay dirt once and Dabulis Ebet kicked 4 converts and ran in another. On D Ebet led the team with an interception, with Taylor Nuestater, Zack Lethbridge and Levi Kelly getting picks as well.

MVP’s for the teams were Raiders Kaleb Bell and Colts Drew Nimegeers.

 September 23

 Rockets 6 vs. Colts 8

 The game was played between the 20 yd lines for most of the game neither team giving up very much. The Rockets got the first break when Bryce Hall scored late in the second quarter. The Colts came out in the third and got a quick score from Zach Hagerman, with Dabulis Ebet running in the 2 pt convert to take the lead. Both teams had good chances the rest of the way but defences came up big.

 

September 23

 Raiders 6 vs. Falcons 38

Raiders lone bright spot was new comer Austin Duncan, who scored on a 66 yd Td run. The Falcons were led by Kyle Arndt, who had a Td reception, kicked a field goal and three 1 pt converts. Kyril Ofstedahl and Riley Raduik both scored on the ground, while Aiden Colemen caught a Td. Qb Bailey Wong had a 2 pt convert to go along with the two Td’s he tossed.

 MVP’s for both teams were Raiders Thomas Tunall and Falcons Riley Raduik

 

September 28/ rescheduled from Sept 30

 Colts 21 vs. Falcons 0

 Falcons held their own for the first half going into half time down by 7, Mark Warburton INT return of 90 yds before being brought down on the 5yd line was a sign of how the Falcons night went. On the next play the Falcons Fumbled to give the ball back to the Colts, who then processed to go down the field and score. Jackson Klein scored in the first half; Dabulis Ebet kicked the 1 pt convert, the first of 3 for him.The second half was no better for the Falcons every time they put a drive together something would go wrong and the Colts took advantage with Td from Drew Nimegeers and Zach Hagerman. Taylor Neustater started most of the Falcons troubles with 2 INT and a fumble recovery.

 MVP’s for both teams were Colts Jackson Klein and Falcons Aaron Forbes

Oct. 1

Raiders 7 vs. Rockets 13

 The Raiders jumped out to an early start with an 50 yard TD run in the 1st Quarter to take the early lead.  The Rockets were able to bounce back with a punt return and a 35 Yard TD of their own to hold off a late push and beat the Raiders 13-7. 

 Oct. 6

 Rockets 7 vs. Raiders 8

 The night was dark and the wind blew strong as these two teams prepared for battle, the ball was like a greased pig from the rain that was coming down, there were fumbles and stumbles caused by good old Mother Nature. The Rockets scored on their first possession of the game on a 73 yd run from Bryce Hall and Matt Poor kicked the convert. The Raiders returned the score a few minutes later when Austin Duncan scored on a 45 yd run, Burke MacDonald kicked the convert. Then good defence and bad weather took over. Right up till the last play of the game, when Raiders punter Tyson Pisio punted a ball into the end zone which took a funny hop so all the Rockets could do is jump on it and give up the single for the loss.

 Oct. 6

 Colts 15 vs. Falcons 0

 The weather may have still been bad, but the game was just as close with hardly no errors by either team. Both teams defences played prefect football for over three quarters. With just under nine minutes left in the game Colts Qb Jackson Klein found a hole in the falcons armour and scored on a 39 yd run Dabulis Ebet ran in the convert, Drew Nimegeers then scored on the next possession through the same hole, with Ebet kicking the convert.

 MVP’s were Colts Logan Prichard and Falcons Cody Robbins

 

Oct. 14

 Colts 34 vs. Raiders 0

Raiders kept it close for the 1st quarter, with good D. Then the Colts took over Drew Nimegeers had 2 Td’s, Jackson Klein had 2 Td’s and a 2 pt convert, Dabulis Ebet had a major as well as two 1 pt converts.

 MVP’s were Raiders Kadin Farham and Colts Dabulis Ebet.

Playoffs Semi-Finals

#3 Falcons 16 vs. #2 Rockets 7

The Rockets Took a Lead of 7-0 on some hard work by Matt Poor, who got the major and kicked the extra pt as well. Then the Falcons took over from there scoring 16 unanswered points Kyril Ofsteadahl started by hauling in a 30 yd pass, then ran in the 2 pt convert, Riley Raduik made sure of the victory with a 22 yd catch and Bailey Wong ran in the convert. Falcon as got a 2 pt safety to add to their score. They will now face the Colts in the Final on Friday.

Playoffs Semi Final

#4 Raiders 0 vs. #1 Colts 27

The Raiders put up a great effort against the #1 team in the League for the first half, but faile d to score as the Colts slowly pulled away. The Colts were led by two players Qb Jackson Klein, who had 2Td’s and Dabulis Ebet, who had 2 Td’s one on O and one on int. on D. Ebet kicked a convert as well as ran one in.

Now the Colts turn their sights on the birds of prey the Falcons.
